Christmas Eve we went over to the Lewis' home for dinner.
Ryan bought Sydnee a necklace with his own money. He was so excited to give it to her!
We brought props for the kids to reenact the Nativity.
Sydnee was Mary
Ryan was Joseph
Becks and Gavin were supposed to be shepards but they didn't like their costumes
So, the Grinch kindly filled in watching our animals
Beckham was a wiseman who didn't want to keep his crown on and wanted to eat all the gold covered chocolate
Joseph took Mary on the rocking duck to Bethlehem
The baby Jesus was born in a manger and a star manifested of his birth
It was so beautiful to see Ryan and Sydnee taking their roles so seriously. It was a really memorable night. We're going to have this become our Christmas Eve tradition.
I had to work Christmas night but we had a really good Christmas. We opened presents at our house then went to my parents for the children to open a HUGE mountain of gifts!
Beckham starts off trying to open presents with his teeth!
I am so blessed!
Something good....children who inspect Santa's cookie plate to ensure he ate enough!
