I need a kick to the pants

I can't believe I've been able to get away with not posting for almost 3 weeks...... ok I actually don't have time now. But tonight, tomorrow, sometime within the next 24 hrs there WILL be a new post! So....check back later!

Finals and anxiety

Finals and anxiety seem to go together like...well all I can think of is peanut butter and jelly! Yes I have 3 tests in one week, and I don't really feel amazingly comfortable with my grades at this point to just relax. I MUST pass, no I'm not failing, but ahhh I can't fail. So here's to a week where I'm grumpy, stressed, freaking out, hungry, tired, crawling out of my skin....and on and on.

So to all my loyal readers (ha I've always wanted to say that) Goodbye for this week, I am no good as a blogger right now. I'm going to take care of me and not lean on others to make it through. Please wish me luck, no, pray for me! It's really important that I do well right now!

Ella Bella

So it's almost finals week!! AHHH, how crazy can my life get?? Well to start I have had some amazing people who have helped me, taking Sydnee to field day and then school, watching Becks, bringing me meals, fixing my furnace when the pilot light went out (I now know how to do this on my own!) Plus, my mom's been out of town for Women's Conference so my Dad stepped up and helped out so much more and my sis Klair pried herself away from her new husband and took care of the kids one day. Wow, so many different things and I have been helped through them all! Thank you, Thank YOU!!!

Alright, here's the big news.....we got a puppy!! I'm sure you are now thinking "Koren, are you crazy?" Well, yes sometimes I am, but this is going to be GREAT!

I knew that I wanted a dog for awhile, Jack ran away last August and Sydnee still cries for him. So I've been casually looking, I wanted an Australian Shepherd, my Dad was telling me how my Grandpa Jones' (he was a veterinarian) favorite dog was a border collie. So when I found a puppy mix, I couldn't resist! The lady actually help onto her for a few weeks for me, but it was time so yesterday Sydnee and I drove to Denver to pick Ella Bella up.

Why the name Ella Bella? Well Sydnee wanted to name her Ella (Ella Enchanted) That was my Great Grandmother's name so I wasn't so keen. I wanted to name her Bella (Twilight, duh!) Sydnee has a friend named Bella so she wasn't so keen. So in the end with a compromise for both we named her Ella Bella. Although most of the time I just call her Bella and the kids are following suit!

She really is that adorable and fluffy!

Something good.....yes I am in my finals week, I have SOOO many things I'm juggling right now. Adding a puppy is a huge weight, but BRING IT! I can do this, it's making Syd and Becks so happy and excited already. It was worth it just to see Sydnee sing lullabies in the car on the drive home!
